A question about : cineworld unlimited + orange wednesday combined works!

Not sure this is really the correct board to post this... can't seem to find the most suitable place somehow. Just realised by sort of accident, that if you have subscribed to the cineworld unlimited card, that you can in fact use that in conjunction with Orange Wednesday 2 for 1. So if you go on a Wednesday with a friend, taking your unlimited card and an orange code, that neither of you pay for the visit!!! (other than of course the monthly subscription for your unlimited card of course) There is a chance that this only seems to work at my local cineworld as I've only tried it there but that's pretty unlikey!

• I used to do this a year or two ago, i joined up to cineworld unlimited again last year and recently tried the orange Wednesday thing again and they charged me Ј3, I tried to query it but my friend didn't want any hassle and just paid it.
• It's a bit odd that it's charged differently at different branches... free at some, subsidised at others...
• always been free in all the London Cineworlds, so VERY odd that one branch likes to charge - id pick them up on it next time tbh

  just wondering if the unlimited card is worth it.How much is it for a year now?
  i've thought about getting it a couple of times but always backed out.I go to the cinema about once a month, and normally on a Wednesday for the orange deal, or Tuesday when it's cheaper all day. We also exchange tesco vouchers for cineworld but haven't had any for a while!
  We do go occasionally go on Friday or Saturday night, but i just find it so expensive.
  would definitely go more if we had the card. How often do you need to go to make it pay?
  Also, can you still use it to combine with the Orange Wednesday deal. Now that would really make it worthwhile.

• The card is Ј14.99 a month, with tickets at Cineworld generally being Ј8.00 for an adult ticket, so you'd only need to go twice a month, or every Wednesday, to get your monies worth.
  Also, if you look on the website for the unlimited card, you can look at where you can use it (local restaurants generally) in your area to get money off.
