• sorry if this has been asked a million times before but my broadband is down and I'm posting this on my phone. I'm trying to get a good deal to be in newyork for 06/10/07 for a wedding stopping around 5 nights flying from up north (manchester ideally). are there any cheap flights for this time hopefully with a phone number so I can book over the phone.
  there is 4 going and before my isp went down, I got Ј325 (direct) each, is this a good deal?

  i found a link that links through to AMEX pages, and takes the same fare down to £298.30, so for 4, thats another £40 saved... try it and let us know how you go...

• given the choice of delta, continental or American airlines, which would you choose?
• if it's giving you a good price for american airlines for a direct flight from man to jfk at 10;00 in the morning this will be the BA flight on a codeshare
• k3v. It would appear that if you book the BA flight Manchester to JFK on www.americanairlines.co.uk the fare works out at Ј342pp inc tac which is a saving of about Ј137pp as compared to booking it direct with BA on www.ba.com

  edit, ive just googled it and it appears AA dont fly from manchester to newyork, so am i right in thinking all AA flights are BA? I cant get the prices anywhere near £300pp anyhow.... nevermind. cant get 342 either
• k3v. You're getting a bit bogged down here. BA and American Airlines are members of the OneWorld Alliance and American are allocated certain seats on BA flights, often at a lower price than if you purchased direct from BA (don't ask me why btw). Please be patient and carefully check the options available to you on www.americanairlines.co.uk (including the advanced options). The Manchester to New York flight with BA IS available for booking on the American Airlines site for Ј342 and what's more , if you are willing to not go direct and via Boston for example you can get the fare for as low as Ј216 pp inc tax. Happy hunting.

  I've found a return flight for Ј255 to New York (JFK).
  Flying out from Gatwick on 26 Sep and landing back at Gatwick on 2 Oct 2007.
  Plleeaasssee tell me this is good deal. I haven't found anything cheaper. I'm waiting to book before all the seats get snapped up!
  I'll tell you where I found it after you guys tell me whether it's good or whether it sucks!! Mind you, with all you bargain hunters out there I'm sure you already know where it is anyway!!
