A question about : Cheap Energy Club e-mail
I'm not sure where to put this, but this seems like a good place.
I've just had the Cheap Energy Club e-mail saying Yay! We hear your energy switch is complete
It has the question Should I cancel my direct debit with old supplier? and says if you're in Credit with your previous supplier and are awaiting a refund you might want to leave this in place but it doesn't mention Martin's recent excellent advice of contacting your previous supplier and checking to see if you *are* actually in credit and if they have any money of yours which they should pay back.
It would be good it this was mentioned prominently as I got Ј64 back when I switched and checked if they owed me anything!

- Well, I have switched several times with Cheap Energy Club. Out of experience I would always recommend to cancel your Direct Debit immediately and rather await a final bill, because there might be some disagreement about your meter reading not being accepted by your previous supplier.
