A question about : Cheap eats in blackpool

any cheap half decent places to eat in the evening please

Best answers:

  • Pizza Hut!! Also Coasters (next to the Pleasure Beach) is quite nice and reasonable
  • Our favourite restaurant in Blackpool for several years has been La Piazza in Cedar Square, not far from the Winter Gardens. The food is very good quality Italian and the prices reasonable. Oven baked pasta is particularly good, as is the pizza garlic bread.
They have a website with menus: https://www.lapiazzarestaurants.com/
  • the brewers fayre place next to airport does 2 for 1 meals
  • if you have tesco club card vouchers convert them into harry ramsdens vouchers as they have a eat in and a take away...another nice fish and chip place is by the pleasure beach im sure it was called pablos or something similar but it was nice or if your nearer the north the one inside coral island too hth
  • Everywhere seems to stink of stale chip fat.....get in the car and travel out a bit.
  • There is a pub not to far from the centre of blackpool that is a 2 for 1 we go there all the time and enjoy the food the pub is nice too! its called the swift hound
  • You can also use your tesco clubcard vouchers if you have any for Pizza hut currently too. I got Ј30 worth today for Ј7.50 in deals. It'll help to keep costs down on our planned day out there during illuminations
  • Air ballon near the airport do BOGOF and has a wacky atatched if you have kids.Swift Hound also BOGOF near the cinema, rigby road.
Weatherspoons pub on Lytham Rd in reasonable, there is one in st annes aswell.
There is a gerka place, all you can eat etc
what type of food are you wanting to eat?
  • The Villa at Wrea Green is lovely. Villa Restaurant Restaurant Kirkham, Lancashire - Blackpool & Fylde restaurants and menu well worth a trip.
  • Would second La Piazza, the food is lovely and reasonably priced. My mum goes every year for birthdays, christmas or new year celebrations and she is well known for her money-saving ways. Depending on where you are staying there is another one in Bispham (north end) as well as the central one Mr Smartprice mentioned above. XX
  • The Swift Hound is really nice, we go there everytime we go to Blackpool cos it's off the front but still easy to get to & the kids love the food there too.
  • the Tudor rose on the front near MacDonalds do lots of great value (and very big portion ) meals. We've been there a few times now when we've stayed in Blackpool
  • Does anybody have any up to date recomendations for the Easter holidays
that are family friendly in central Blackpool in the evening - and cheap of course !. Thanks
  • If you want to travel out a bit i woud reccommend Guys Thatched Hamlet
  • another vote for the swift hound 'two for one' meal was good, prices great, there was also a frankie and bennys next door if I remember correctly and a cinema/bingo opposite, we went last summer when in Blackpool, went to 241 one night and next night frankie and bennys as had the kids eat free vouchers so only paid for 2 meals and got 4 meals (2ad, 2 ch) both nights.
  • A good one to try is the Gurka Restaurant on Waterloo Rd. Its an all you can eat buffet style and is always good. They charge differently depending on what time you go in, but its never more than Ј9 per head.
