A question about : Cheap delivery from US for toys

I'm after a Power Ranger toy from the US - not available in UK yet - but I found that, for even a small 5" figure, I get charged anything from $10 - $27 for delivery.

Anyone know anywhere that offers cheaper delivery?

Thanks in advance

  • I used to live in the US and we used Global Priority Mail from the USPS https://www.usps.com/global/globalprioritymail.htm. It's $5 for a special 6x10 padded envelope weighing up to 4 pounds.
If you buy from somewhere like ebay you can negotiate the shipping with the seller via email using the USPS prices before the bidding closes.
Customs duty is only applicable on items over 18 pounds and is not applicable for items marked as a gift.
  • Not used the company but read an article in Webuser on
    www.shopthestates.com
It lets you buy from American sites that don't ship outside the USA. The site gives you a US shipping address then forwards the goods to you.
Apparently people use it for ebay purchases from the states.
  • By the way were they Dino Thunder figures ? If so where from ?
  • Just found this post, another suggestion?

  • Yeah, these are Dino Thunder figures. So far, the cheapest place that does deliveries are Amazon.com. Ebay is rather expensive and when the total price is added up, I'd rather pay Amazon that bit extra for the peace of mind.
    Thanks so far.
  • Have you been to Rangerboard at ...
    https://www.rangerboard.com
and try asking around in the forums ?
I have a 6 3/4 year old that would die for some Dino Thunder toys
  • yep been there. even got a posting up. was suggested to me that the DT toys will probably be here by xmas.
