Change of name on BA ticket

A question about : Change of name on BA ticket

Hey!

I would like to change a name on a partner ticket from British Airways, however, the ticket is non refundable or changeable.

Now I discovered that I need to confirm the details as Advanced passenger Information, would it be possible to enter a new name there and get the ticket issued on a different name? did anyone of you tried this before?

  Won't work.
• Please clarify, is this a change of name to a different person, or a change of name due to typo or not fully knowing about their correct names?
  BTW1 - what's a 'partner ticket' - is it something special?
  BTW2 - what's the 'Hey!' for?
• BA will only change a few letters of a name if there's been a typo. They won't do a complete name change on any type of ticket.
