Hi

Been looking at car insurance for my oh and the deposits are ridiculous. His insurance company he waa with wanted Ј77 extra a month fir his renewal so we decided to look elsewhere.
Does anyone know anywhere that does relatively cheap deposits.
I know it depends on the individual and the car but any guidance here as I'm sick of looking for quotes to be given stupid deposits

• The deposit is usually more to cover the costs of setting up the policy if you decide not to pay any more after that first payment.
  Try the comparison sites and tick the pay by installment option to see what others will charge.
• Almost all insurances charge silly APRs for premiums that put them well into the subprime space. Do you have access to a credit card to pay for the premium in full? Ideally a 0% card obviously but even a normal card with a 19.9% APR would be cheaper than most insurers.
