A question about : Cap quest
Hi all my girlfriend has had a letter from Drydensfairfax who are working for cap quest for the amount of Ј1291.25 which she ignored ! She recalls the amount in question to an old catalogue from 2011 I've since rang Drydensfairfax who said its to late I need to contact Northampton county court any ideas why they won't deal with it over the phone ? And what's the best form of a action
Thanks in advance
Best answers:
- That means court action has been initiated, have you received a notice of claim letter ?
Its likely you will receive the court papers shortly, its very important you respond to them in a timely manor, as I believe you have a strict 14 days (I think) in which to respond to the claim.
You have to decide either to admit you owe the money, or defend it, if settled in full before hand, it wont go to court, and you can still settle after judgement within 28 days, and no CCJ will be registered.
But you must respond or a CCJ will be registered by default.
