A question about : Budget Energy price reduction
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-northern-ireland-31321383
5% reduction from March 10th.
Hopefully others will follow.
Best answers:
- I'm already on the cheapest SSE tarriff having signed up recently so I doubt it will lower. Something tells me that it is a fixed rate, rather than tracking the PowerNI rate.
Now Power NI have announced a 9.2% reduction from 1 April.
Who'll be next? - Hopefully Electric Ireland.
Budget's new unit rate is 16.191p inc VAT and Electric Ireland's is 16.25p so Budget will be the cheapest (I'm discounting Airtricity's 1 year introductory rate) from 10th March.
