A question about : Broken brakes pedals on mamas and papas swirl pushchair

I bought my grandson the swirl mamas and papas pushchair in August last year, I only use it once a week when he comes to stay, it is almost as new. Today I have noticed the brakes pedals has broken. I bought it at argos, I wonder whether they will exchange it also they do not seem to make that model anymore in that colour. I am not sure what option I have. Thanks

  • Contact Mamas and Papas they will advise you if its Argos or themselves that will deal with it. Do you have proof of purchase?
  • I had same problem with this pushchair but we bought it june last year and took it back in the December as the whole chassy seemed to have bent and the brakes bar had bent and this cause the one wheel to be off the ground. we also bought it from argos. I too it back as you should have 1 yr manfacturers warranty which argos will cover as its the brakes it is a safety issue. take it back and speak to manager. we never had a receipt but they have record as we bought online.they never had this pushchair in stock so they found from another store and delivered but they did give us the option of choosing another one of same value or more and pay difference. I liked this pushchair as handles high up n easy to push. not had a problem with this one. its a safety issue on pushchair. if they don't change then contact mamas and papas as 1 yr manufacturers warranty on all their pushchairs
  • Took it back to Argos, I only used it once a week and it is only just 6 months old. She was going to replace it without any fuss but I asked for another one the Joie Nitro reduced to Ј49.99, appears to be a much better pushchair and it fits the Fiesta better as I did have to struggle to get the swirl in the boots. A very good experience with Argos CS, I always find them first class.
