Does anyone know of a good place to get brambles around Glasgow? Can't find any decent sized ones

• Spring this year came earlier than usual and the summer was exceptionally hot. Everything was ready for picking about four to six weeks sooner compared to last year. I never managed to get any wild garlic or three-cornered leek because I was too late.
  I got my brambles around the end of July. It might be that you are going to the right places but it's just too late.
