Book on Roses

A question about : Book on Roses

Recommendations please for a detailed book on Roses - in particular their care and maintenance throughout the year. I'm not looking for a publication that lists all types of roses and their merits.

I do have the Rose Expert book by Hessayon which is good but basic so I want a more detailed one.

• The Royal National Rose Society publishes a Handbook on " How to Grow Roses " - short but concise
  The best book I have is by E Le Grice - " Rose Growing Complete " -published back in the 70's
  Very comprehensive - the varieties are out of date in many cases but the cultural advice is still very relevant
  Out of print but available second hand from Amazon and others
