A question about : Bidz.com

I have recently started using Bidz.com and I have been searching through the web for reviews on the auction site and it is starting to worry me a bit that I could be expected to nearly as much again for the good when they arrive in the UK.
Does anyone have any first hand recent knowledge of the delivery system or do you know if I will pay customs on the estimated value or what I have paid.
