A question about : Been a bit silly

....................................

Best answers:

  • If you want to purchase the property its probably worth getting on to the broker and eating humble pie.
You wont have done yourselves any favours both in extra credit searches (your now going to be on your third possibly 4th) and wasted time.
Its not uncommon for us (brokers) to get cases through with lenders where it has previously been declined. It can be down to packaging, it can also come down to bank staff not knowing their systems as well as we do.
  • Just to check, the application was proceeding with the Halifax?
If so you should never have even gone to NatWest.
Why on earth would you take a mates advice over a professionals?
You may have ballsed this up royally. If you were my client and I found out you had done this I would terminate my agreement with you and refuse to proceed with the Halifax case, lets hope the chap you're using is a little more forgiving than I am.
    Good Luck
