  • Looked at Retail Eyes Web-site--It's in America!!!
Can I contact them in UK?Does anybody know?
  • Just put .co.uk at the end and it will take you to the UK site with a link to register
  • Just remove .com and put co.uk once the page has loaded, that redirects you to uk website!
  • I work for Retail Eyes and it's one of the best.
  • I'm signing up now, more than happy to mention someone's name so they get the referral fee (the box has come up asking for it) if someone wants to PM me with their retail eyes username in the next ten mins or so... filling in the form at the moment.
  • Have just completed my first assignment and only registered last night at 9. Are they pretty quick at proccessing your work? they say I cant look at new assingments till thats been done
  • teedy - sometimes the first one takes a while - a few days IIRC as they want to check it properly, but then its free flowing from then on (depending on what comes up in your area!)
  • Retail eyes have a reasonable amount of work but are among the lowest payers especially considering the length of report needed.
Saying that I still do the odd meal for them as I can't resist free food.
There are plenty of better companies out there though, maybe not always with the same volume of work though so you need to spread yourself around a bit
  • I was just wondering, if you become a mystery shopper then do they reimburse you fully for the things that you have to buy??
Also, if like me your really skint, do you have to the buy the things initially with your own money, or do they send you vouchers or something to buy the items with??
Thirdly, are the things you have to buy really expensive??
Lastly, do you get reimbursed quickly???
Many thanks in advance, sorry for all the questions!!!

  • loopydonna Thank you so much for all your help and information. I don't think I am going to do it now, as found out you have to fill in a tax form and stuff, and really dont like the sound of that, or understand the first thing about it. Thank you anyways, but think I'm gonna leave it lol.

  • Jamie don't give up that easily!
MS is great fun - not particularly well paid but you get loads of free things and live a life of luxury for free!
Hop over to the proper Mystery Shopping thread and read all about it - there are lots of us there to help too if you need it.
Note to mods: is it worth getting rid of this thread as there are now two MSing threads - could get confusing!
  • Hi!
I have been reading on the forum about MS and need some convincing.... I would like some extra money to come in or do something to stop me from spending my money when I'm bored. Is this the right thing to be looking at???
    All suggestions are welcome!!
    Thanks!!!
  • lol rebecca perhaps not, its not always frequent. Personally i joined retaileyes and i get very little contact from them. There are 2 others i use, one which again is very poor and one which is quite good! Ive got 4 from the quite good one this week, all for banks at £10 a pop so not too bad. You can get better paid ones and for other services etc but its not a steady job tbh.
  • I have a job already and was just looking at doing the MS as an extra thing, is this not the right road to go down? Are u able to choose what u do or turn things down?? I work 5 days a week 9 till 5 and just wanted to see if I could do it on the side. What do you think??
  • Check out the existing Mystery Shopping thread (especially the first post!) for more help - it'll really help you out with any concerns you have.
