A question about : Bank of Scotland Closed my Student Account
Hi,
I have had a student account with bank of Scotland for just over 6 years (undergraduate and now PhD), however they closed it recently and said despite being a student there is a 6 year limit to student accounts and I will not be able to open student accounts in any other bank. Furthermore I will only receive a graduate account for the remaining period since I completed my Undergraduates (2012).
Is this right or are they just incompetent?
Best answers:
- I don't know if all banks have this policy. I had mine with Barclays and completely forgot to tell them I'd graduated. it wasn't until I was buying a house a few years later that they asked if I was still a student and then changed it over.
