Balance transfers between different people

A question about : Balance transfers between different people

I think I know the answer to this one, but just to confirm: one of my lads recently got a 0% BT on a new Barclaycard and I would like to transfer some balances from a couple of my cards onto this new card of his.

I assume there's nothing wrong with this, based on my understanding of the subject, and on other threads here. I just wondered because it seems BC give individual approvals for BTs.

• Do it online to minimise the chance of rejection.
• Santander doesn't allow it at all.
  Some say they only allow it for additional cardholders.
  Many don't seem to mind.
  Read the terms of the offer, and it will say what the restrictions are.
  PS: YOU can't transfer anything to your partner's card, only your partner can do that.
