Hi

I am about to move out of my quarter. I have heard that if you have lived in a service house over 3 years then you can get your issued curtains and carpets cleaned at public expense. If this is the case can anybody point me in the right direction as to where this is written down. ie which JSP and para.

Your help would be great appreciated

• Please don't forget that UK PLC, Defense and more over DIO! are skint..... although the rules above are great, I believe that you may be told to wash them yourself prior to march out.
  For instance if a carpet is due to be replaced ie time ex but is in good order it wont be replaced.
  It will be interesting to see the outcome! Especially as my posting has just been put to 5 years!
• For Sgts and above they have all changed to 5 years.
• I thought you were questioning the guy who had just had his posting extended to 5 years!
