Still struggling with car hire. Has anyone used Argus? It's full to full fuel but I still am not sure about the insurance. It's Ј137 for a week in Majorca which seems reasonable. Decided to buy car seats here and take because they are expensive to hire and Ryan air let you take car seats free ( I think).

• I am looking for a car hire in Majorca too. I find the Argus site pretty terrible as they don't reveal who they are brokering for. Other sites like AutoEurope show you more information. Also read the terms as full-to-full is often not quite so straightforward. Atesa are a well regarded company that seems quite cheap at the moment.
• How about Centura? I went through auto Europe and got full to full with zero excess for 177. Does that sound legitimate? Don't know why I am struggling with car hire,just read so many car horror stories.
• I can't say anything good or bad about them as I haven't used them. Typically the off-airport suppliers ask for a fuel deposit and try to force you to take extra insurance. Last year I got a week in a small car with Enterprise for Ј70 or so
