A question about : Are you travelling on AA, BA or Iberia with a 12, 13 or 14 year old
Are you travelling on AA, BA or Iberia with a 12, 13 or 14 year old ?
If so, you will have discovered that AA, BA & Iberia treat your 12, 13 or 14 year old as an adult.
However, US Airways charge child fare for 2-14 year olds. So your 12/13/14 year old would be an adult with AA, BA or Iberia but still a child with US Airways.
US Airways are a OneWorld member (and are just about to be swallowed up by AA, when the anomoly may get closed), so you'll be travelling on exactly the same plane as if you'd booked it via AA, BA or Iberia.
As an idea of the potential saving, for my holiday this year, the difference between a child fare and an adult fare is Ј234.80.
