A question about : are share says payments taxable when made redundant

Hi sorry if this was asked before I can't see it
But recently been given notice for redundancy
And was wondering how that would affect the
Money I've put into my firms saye share schme?
I will have amassed Ј4000 which will be returned
To me at the end, as part of the saye this was never
Taxed during the collection will it be taxed when its
Returned now as due to the redundancy?
