A question about : Anyone tried asda sp nappies?

I've bought a pack today as a back up Incase we run out of any till our next shop which is in two weeks time.
Costing Ј1.41 for 20 https://groceries.asda.com/asda-webst...oduct/77428421

So far they look and feel ok , no pattern on them plain white.
They dont look like the old sp nappies (plasticky) they feel like a usual nappy.

I've just put one on ds2 just hope they are as absorbent as asdas normal type just without the pattern/print.

Anybody used them before?
I guess at 7p a nappy it's worth a go?

Best answers:

  • I get asdas little angels, working out at 9p a nappy and love them. Have tried other store brands and nothing to me is as good as these.
Had pampers given to us, but if a cheaper brand works just as well I'm not going to spend more money just to have a known brand of nappy on my baby.
  • I used these once they passed newborn stage and they were great especially since my two were 16 months apart so at one point lots of nappies used. My eldest had sensitive skin and it wasn't a problem.
  • LIDL Nappies all the way, Work out at 10p ish per nappy and NEVER had a problem with them..
  • Aldi nappies!
  • They are very good and have won an award. I love them but so far the sp nappies are doing well.
  • My son tried them all and we found asda little angels the best.
  • Aldi ones are meant to be very good Ј1.40 something for 24 I think they were. Complete with cord stump cut out for newborns and wetness indicator.
  • I have mostly used either Morrisons or Tesco value brand nappies. No complaints here - in fact far from it. I have 2 under 2 (1 20m, 1 5m) and they are a lifesaver! The 5mold is in size 4 and I can get my 20mold into size5s in the day (not at night lol) so I save a lot by using these. Bonuses as well, they're in small, stackable packets, very little packaging, and they don't have that horrid smell that pampers have!
  • Double humbs up for ALDI nappies here!
  • I tried them once, and didn't find them very good at all. They were the 4+ toddler ones though, and toddlers can do big wee's, so maybe they smaller ones would be OK on tiny babies .
Like the previous posters, I think Aldi nappies and Asda Little Angels are good.
  • I used Tesco value for a toddler brought as an emergency one day when out n poo incident n then continued to send to nursery as they change them so frequently n my little one didn't do loads wees. They were fine for nursery n the 3hrly changes. Used Sainsbury or aldi own as main brands.
Due number 2 shortly n stocking up on whatever is on offer.
  • Sorry, can't help as I don't wear nappies.
(Apparently adult nappies now outsell those for kids in Japan btw!)
  • ALDI nappies have changed recently and the news ones are awful. We were so disappointed as we loved the ALDI nappies (and they were responsible for an terrible night's sleep as they kept leaking). We are currently trying lidl nappies and they seem ok.
