A question about : Another Income Advice Please
Morning!! I am after some advice if that's ok. Been meaning to register on here for a while so here I am.
My little boy is 10 now been paying every month no problem (never missed a payment). Now I am looking into taking out a second job althought it may be on a zero hour contract although I am hoping it will be a 24 hour a week contract.
Just wanted to know where I stood really with the csa?
From what I have read online and if I read it right it says something about if the amount I would be earning goes over 15% of my current main job salary then I do need to inform them.
But naturally if I end up going on a zero hour contract then that would be difficult as I wouldn't really know how many shifts I would get.
On the 24 hours a week contract I would naturally go over the 15%.
Any help would be really nice of you.
Thanks

- If you are on CSA2 (sounds like you are if you're talking about 15%) then you would be assessed to pay 15% of main job and 15% of second job. If the second job is inconsistent with hours then you can do an average of say 1 months wages (4 weeks).
- Morning guys... so it's a relief position I have got so one month I could have 2-3 shifts or more... or I may not have any shifts. It's on a when needed basis I suppose.
Should I still inform the CSA of that??? - You should contact them when you start and then provide payslips as you get them
