A question about : Advice As To What To Do Following Poor Sound at First Direct Arena in Leeds
Could anyone offer advice as to how I go about reclaiming in part or full the price i paid for two tickets to the Prince concert at First Direct Arena in Leeds ? The sound quality in the upper tier was muffled and unacceptable throughout the entire concert. Several blocks either side of us had the same issue. The staff were made aware but said there was nothing they could do. FB etc was awash with complaints of the smae nature re the sound. I have contacted the Arena who basically said 'it's nothing to do we us' and hope you enjoy your next visit ! i believe it's not unreasonable whatever price has been paid that when attending a concert you should be able to hear what is being sung and played. Any help would be appreciated.
Best answers:
- Contact the concert provider/promoter - it will be on the tickets as to who that is.
- The problem isn't with the arena but with the sound engineers of the artist / promoter. It is them who you need to address your complaints to.
The arena merely provides a venue - it is the artist that configures the sound and performance quality. Plenty of other artists have performed at the venue without the same problems.
