A question about : 6' High Side Gate Options
I have a solid wooden side gate that warps in the rain, bends in the wind (top one way, bottom the other) and often jams (depending on the swelling/weather) so the latch can't be opened.
Rather than faffing around with it I'd like to replace it with a regular wrought-iron style of gate.
Width is quite flexible as it'd fit to the existing 4 square post, but wheelchair accessible wide. It'd need a new fixing to the house wall. I'd like it to have a key/lock mechanism. 6' high would do.
What sort of cost would one of those be, fitted?
I can find similar style gates at Ј60, but I bet the lock/hinges/fixing rack up the bill.
