  • probably combine with the clubcard wine mailng eg 50 points when you buy wine!
  • thank you, I dont think that was there earlier
  • Can these be ordered online as part of your food order or do they have to be done separately on the tesco wine club part of the site?
  • Just been in Tesco and 25% off all wine was advertised everywhere, but I was charged full price at the till. I went to the customer service desk and was refunded double the difference, so got the wine half price.
  • Some of the wine was already reduced to half price (sorry, but I didn't think to make a note of which ones) so the saving would be pretty substantial with another 25% off 6 bottles. I checked the sign and it said it applied to all wines (and 'ALL' was written in capital letters) so they are including the stuff that's already reduced in the offer.
  • Just had my Tesco food shopping delivered, including 12 bottles of wine with 25% off!!
Put your wine in with your grocery order and then you don't have to pay seperate P&P (unless you are ordering over Ј99 worth!)
  • Tesco's Finest Guentota Estate Chardonnay 75cl is reduced from Ј7.99 to Ј3.99 so with another 25% off works out at Ј3 a bottle
  • Its very confusing online cos it doesn't state if the 25% is taken off before or after. I put some into my online basket and the 25% was not taken off at the checkout only the free delivery was(cos I spent over Ј99). I phoned customer services and was told that it would be taken off on the day that it went through the checkout at the wine warehouse. I found this a bit strange and phoned again and spoke to a different person who told me the complete opposite. Therefore I am 25% better off buying the wine I want in store and don't fancy taking the risk of the 25% not being deducted online even with my 500 points coupon which I have to use online.
  • they've been quite sneaky about it all and removed a hell of a lot of their offers around the wine aisles so the 25% off is probably best on the better wines that they don't normally discount and the like. I.e their usual Isla Negra wines that they seem to offer 'half price' at Ј3.98 for about 6 months of the year are backup to Ј7.98 so even with 25% off it's more than it was a few weeks back. Just worth checking that you are getting a good deal and not being blinded by the discount
  • Mini bottles also count towards the 6.
  • Not that brill', to be honest.
Asda are doing 3 for a tenner. Some of the bottles are about Ј5.50 each, so better than 3 for 2.
  • Good for me I bought 6 good bottles, a Ј5 top up for mobile, lots of groceries spent Ј31 used the Ј5 off from NOTW a Ј2 off from Sainsburys and a Ј2 off for Tescos and got 450 points from wine/food mailings
    Good shop for me!
Also look out in NOTW this Sunday as should be an Aldi coupon.
  • Tesco offer is for 6 with 25% discount but Asda offer is 3 for Ј10 and some of the wines e.g Hardy's Australian is Ј6.29 per bottle. If you are smart you can save up to 70% .
  • In conjunction with this promotion, Tesco Winestore have also gone on a 'coupon code expiring' spree, to minimise bonus discounts. Even valid in-date generic ones for first shops have been 'retired'.
  • I tried to buy 12 bottles of the same wine at Tesco today and was told as I was bulk buying I could only have 10. When I pointed out that there were no signs to that effect I was told it was Tescos policy. Has anyone else had this happen to them?
