There are 120,000 free seed kits up for grabs to help you and your community group transform local spaces into beautiful, inspiring and colourful wild flower havens. Each kit contains five packets of seeds native to your country – enough to transform at least 10 square metres – plus a comprehensive getting started guide, DIY bee house and site markers.

By joining in the UK’s biggest-ever seed sowing campaigns, you can help to create over one million square metres of wild flowers in spring 2015. It’s also an opportunity to begin galvanising community spirit while planning for your Big Lunch.

Native wild flowers are part of a complex web of life that shapes our landscape – and puts food on our tables. They’re a haven for bees, birds butterflies and insects but we’ve lost a massive 98% of our wild flower meadows since the 1930s

  • if you go to about grow wild, its a 4 year funded programme.
I should imagine they get loads of applications from groups, schools, etc and they only got 120k kits, so I should imagine there are a lot of disappointed people/groups etc
