Transferring Ј's from a British Current Account to a Ј European account?

A question about : Transferring Ј's from a British Current Account to a Ј European account?

I want to transfer money from my British current account to a European current account that is also in Ј's. What is the cheapest way of doing it as First Direct charge me Ј25 every time?

• Not sure if it'll work but I used this company to pay for my holiday deposit. It only cost me Ј1.40 to send Ђ50 which as you know is faaaaar cheaper than the high street banks. It's called tranferwise and I found it in an article on peer to peer currency transfers on here (moneysavingexpert).
