A question about : Changing Spybot settings .......

I keep getting two dialogue boxes up ... one says "Spybot is blocking double click" and the other "Spybot is blocking Avenue A Inc".

Can anyone advise how to get rid of these boxes?

Mr Judi has bought new bits for our ailing PC. He found what the problem was. It was a couple of bulging capacitors on the board - a common fault with our board i am afraid.

Anyway, hes had to buy the lot (not the monitor and tower), i guess he will be on it some time.

I am looking forward to MSE'ing in super quick time though and obviously without the blue screen and 'STOP EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED' writing that i keep getting.

A question about : Help Please, problem with internet sites

Can anyone help please, I logon to the internet ok, start explorer ok, but my home page keeps going to "https://296f8.ilxt.info/index.php?aid=20009" even though I change it back in the Tools/Internet Options/Homepage

Thats not the main problem, most web-sites I try and visit I get to the opening page and I'm then quickly taken back to the "https://296f8.ilxt.info/index.php?aid=20009" page.....

A question about : Why do some copied DVD work?

Hi all,

Recently bought a DVD player off ebay which stated it played DVD R and DVD RW. Not sure what the difference is to be honest!!

Anyhow, when I try and play a copied DVD it does not work. But the seller says they have tried there DVD player and it does work. Is it the way it is being copied.

Any comments greatly appreciated!

A question about : sony digital camcorder

Having mega installation problems.......anyone around who can offer any advice?
The camcorder came with an disk which has loaded fine but the camcorder doesnt seem to be recognised by the pc (Its not showing anywhere although the editing program is)? When i connect the cam to the pc there is no way of transfering data from the cam to the pc .... even though the picture/video editing software opens. Taking it back to the shop tomorow If anyone has got any words of wisdom I'd love to hear them !

Has this happened to anyone else? ???

Last night, I was sending some emails when words started appearing on the screen that I hadn't typed. I took my hands off the keyboard to see whether they would form sentences, but although the words contained no typos, the sentences did not make sense.

What do you think? Paranormal activity? Hacking? Sleep deprivation??

I have just downloaded adaware and spybot, and have removed 120 objects from my laptop. I hope this does the trick! :-/

A question about : win 95 product id

i have a old pc with win 95.
i need to repair the installation (or even re install it) however i cant find the cd boc with the product id. anyone know what t do?thanks

  You can download a freeware utility to examine your existing product ID, so you can make a note of it & use it when you re-install.
