A question about : Do I need to let student finance know about my new job?

I've just been offered a 6 month full time position and the salary is Ј18,000.

Do I still need to let student finance know about this even or will they not need me to?

A question about : Pay off student overdraft?

I have Ј750 in student over draft which is interest free until 2016. I'd like to pay this off before then. i have managed to save Ј1000 in ISA since leaving uni but i feel like this is my energency fund. Do I pay off my overdraft with my savings?

I'd really appreciate any advice.

Hi guys,

I'm currently going into my second year after graduation, and the overdraft on my HSBC graduate account is at the interest free limit. I have savings that I could use to get rid of the debt if needs be, however since looking at other graduate accounts on offer, I have been thinking of possibly opening another up.

I want to go to university to do a four-year BA (Hons) degree. I have been unwell for many years so it was not possible for me to do A levels or attend a local college. The university I want to go to recommended I do an Open University Cert.HE and use that qualification to gain admission.

How about having a great student discount hunt with the new term coming up - hopefully I will qualify for them then as I am looking to do a hunt and it would be useful to have all the discounts in one place
