A question about : Guide for Free Events

Hi There,

I'm new to the forum, but have always been a fan of Moneysavingexpert so wanted to put this on here. I have recently entered into a bet with a friend to see who can raise the most money for charity in June with just Ј10 investment. So my idea was to create a guide for all the free 2012 London Olympic Games events to show you where and when you should be to make the most of the games for free!

A question about : Protein shakes

Just wondering what opinion people have about protein shakes? Are they just a fad? Or are they worth using? I have just re-joined the gym last week as i have booked to run the 10k in September.

I also cycle to work once a week ( 12 miles total ) and plan to attend 2 x spin classes a week plus TRX (first session is Thursday).

Can you buy these anywhere direct?,want 100 or so for event

A question about : Pay during the Olympics

Are you entitled to any help if the olympics stops you from working, therefore stops your pay?

Was told that the goverment has set aside money for this, but i cant seem to find anything online about it.

Answer: Don't bother going.

It'll be gridlocked everywhere in London and the views are much better on the TV anyway.

i started running not that long ago after a fellow mse'r announced her new years resolutions and i stupidly asked how i could help, her reply was to help her with three of her challenges, so ... i took up running with the intention of later on in the year running a half marathon.

A question about : Food and drinks in olympic park

Does anyone know if we will be able to take our own drinks and food into Olympic park? Wonder if bottled water will not be allowed To be brought in and you have to purchase inside for ЈЈЈ ?
