A question about : Fund price confusion

I recently added a couple of funds to my portfolio held at Royal London 360, but both have been showing losses greater than I think they should be showing, and I can not understand why.

The first of the two funds I bought is Marlborough Balanced Acc (GB0007148629) and I bought Ј30K on 05 Feb 2015.

When I look at my contract note for that transaction it tells me that I bought 19,079.4790 units at 1.572370 GBP per unit.

A question about : What to do with 80k for one month?

Hi, was wondering whats the best way to keep 80k for approx one month and maybe get a little interest? Maybe, Short term investment? Premium bonds? Bank account? Under the mattress? Any advice? Thanks

A question about : iWeb

Hey folks, I'm thinking of moving to iWeb due to the favourable fees.

I'm currently with HL, but come the new tax year fees will get quite expensive when I want to take advantage of my new ISA allowance.

My concern with iWeb is that their website looks as though it was made in 2005, and hasn't been updated since. I take it you can easily see your fund values and they are updated daily?

Welcome to my savings diary

A little about me. I am 34 (eek!), a single mother of 2 and work as a self employed cleaner.
Earlier this year i became debt free and decided to start saving some money.
I saved about Ј200 and then my car failed its MOT in spectacular fashion, so my savings went back down to Ј0.

Now i am on a mission to save Ј5k, or as close to that as possible.
I am aiming for:
