I see the Mirror are doing the Ј1 coach travel offer again but does anyone know if you have to collect codes or vouchers?

A question about : Cyclist v Car = Crash & Injuries

Whilst cycling on Tuesday evening I was forced into taking evading action due to a car pulling out of a junction as I was passing which resulted in a visit to the local A&E and a damaged bike.

The driver did NOT crash into me but WAS the cause of my accident.

I was wearing a high vis jacket and it was good daylight at 18:30

A question about : gift vouchers for train journeys?

Does anyone know if these are available?

I'd like to get my Uncle something for Christmas as a thank you for his help in looking after my parents - he doesn't have a great deal of money but he does have a daughter down south who he likes to visit occasionally, so I thought maybe vouchers to put towards train tickets, only I've tried googling and not had any luck.

Can anyone advise?

This week's MoneySaver who wants advice asks... I loaned my rail pass to my flatmate recently as I was staying in for the evening. He was supposed to put it back in my bag when he got in but he forgot. The next day I hopped on the train without thinking about it and was approached by a ticket inspector. It was only then I realised I didn’t have it and I was fined Ј40. Who should pay the fine?

A question about : Hybrid bike with Ј300 budget

My husbands bike has bitten the dust so he is looking for a new one. Our budget can only stretch to Ј300.
We went to our local Halfords today which was a joke, 15 mins spent waiting and looking around for anyone to help us but not one person on shop floor. Needless to say we left. We went there because my hubby had seen a couple of Carrera's on their website that looked quite good.
Just wondered if anyone could recommend decent bike for our budget!
