A question about : Pedestrian Vs Motorbike...

Greetings ...

Any advice on this would be terrific....

In March this year I had a pedestrian run out in front of my bike. She was waved across by a bus driver who had blocked the pedestrian crossing... as she was out jogging and clearly didn't want to interrupt her progress she sprinted ( and I mean sprinted hard ) to get passed the bus driver before he started to move off....problem was the bus driver didn't see me, nor did she..( I had right to continue as this was two roads heading the same way )..

A question about : train tickets

Hiya, I am a student and travelling home is getting quite expensive. I am at leeds university but live in kent. Usually it costs me Ј45.50 or over for a return ticket. I have looked at two singles but doesn't cost me any less, wondering if you would be able to help me or any sites you recomend? I want to leave on the 23rd of october from leeds to faversham and return on the 28th of october from faversham to leeds. I dont mind what times these are. if you could help would be great!

A question about : Refused a ticket on the train this morning

Morning,

I took my usual trip this morning on Virgin between Preston and Lancaster.

As usual, the conductor came round and I asked him for a return ticket to Lancaster. He refused me and said that you cannot get a return ticket on a train.

I asked 'since when' and he told me for the last two years they haven't issued return tickets on a train.

I have two questions;

1 - Do have a point?

2 - Who have I been handing my money over to for the last two years?

Does anybody know whether if I got a season ticket from my local station to Manchester CTZL, would I be able to use the metrolink within the city centre for free, the same as you can for one off tickets? The info on the metrolink site only looks to talk about purchasing tickets and using on the same day.

This week's dilemma:

I work with someone who's bragging about dodging the fare on their train to work in the morning. He thinks it's very clever, but some of us are getting irritated - after all, we pay our way, why shouldn't he? A couple of us are tempted to report him anonymously - should we?
