Scottish Widows was demutualised in March 2000, when it was bought by Lloyds TSB, which meant qualifying policyholders were entitled to compensation in return for giving up their membership rights.

I have been speaking to a company called Delete UK Claims Management and they say that they can make my credit card debt unenforceable. Anyone know if this is right????

Hi.
Last October my wife received a CCJ from Next on-line, relating to 120.00 of purchases that were paid on time (on line) in April! During this period her bank details were faxed and posted on at least ten separate occasions only to be told they could not find the cash. A defence was even sent to the court but to no avail.

3 years ago I invested Ј10,000 to go into partership in developing a property in order to rent it out. Lets say it was a beginning of a property developement venture.

Things didn't go as smoothly as first expected and my partner whent through financial difficulty and a failed marriage etc.

Hi On TV I recently heard one of the money experts say that if you paid for items and you were in overdraft that you could claim under the same rules as the credit card protection.

I paid for hotel accommodation and tickets for Disney Paris totalling more than Ј300 but they never provided any of the accommodation or tickets which meant I had to pay again myself for these. I could not contact them either via email,phone and their website is now gone.

A question about : mortgage default fees

Hi all,

I'm a landlord and recently defaulted on five payments from one mortgage lender CHL
costing me over Ј200. This was because I simply misjudged my bank account funds before going on holiday.

Does anyone know if my lender is allowed to take such a large amount in penalties!!

A question about : Court holding money from repossesion of home

My home was reposessed 2 years ago and cause bank couldn't get in touch with me money went to the court.
For two months i have been trying to get the funds released to myself with no success there asking for a letter or certificate from hm revenues saying i'm due no tax.
