What are our rights us in the security industry of paying this stealth tax just to be able to work.
As we are one of the lowest paid industries i think this is an unfair tax and must be stopped immediatly also refund what we have paid in the past since 2006

My husband had a mortgage with the Halifax from 1992 for 4 years, we where a bit vague on dates but thought we would give it a go. Guess what? Received Ј2,346 in a matter of weeks. Thank you so much.

A question about : Taking Paypal to the Small Claims Court, possible?

Is it possible to put in a claim against Paypal for money of mine that they are holding for 180 days through the small claims court? The reason I ask is because, although I have acted lawfully and have not behaved fraudulently in any of my dealings with Paypal or Ebay selling, I notice that Paypal as a company operates out of Luxemburg; they do have premises in the UK however.

A question about : Can I claim against Halifax for mis selling of my buildings and contents insurance?

I am so cross!!!
In 1994 we bought our fist house with the Halifax and took out our buildings and contents insurance with them. I can clearly remember them saying we couldn't have the mortgage without a policy in place and them offering us theirs.
Never had any problems but it has steadily risen to Ј1085 pa.
Every year I have called them at renewal time and negotiated larger excess amounts to keep the policy as low as possible.

Hi all

Im hoping someone can give me some advice on the below!

I recieved a letter yesterday off the solicitor who completed all the legalities when we remortgaged, saying that they have been alerted that some of their clients may have been miss sold their mortgage by Carrington Carr. (we took ours out via them in nov 2009.)

A question about : Wessx Group Payment Protection Policy

5 years ago my husband and I bought our house through Connell's estate agent. When organising the purchase, (we were first time buyers and didn't really have a clue) we signed up to a mortgage with Nationwide along with Payment Protection Policy with Wessex Group.

Last year I cancelled the payments as I did not feel we needed it, however, after reading so many posts and news articles about PPI, I am wondering whether this was PPI.
