A question about : Is this ok?

Hi all,

I'm going to send the following in my defence reply to the claim.

1 The Claimant's claim was issued on 8th September 2014.

2 The Defendant contends that as this is a claim in contract and an excess of 6 years have passed since any cause of action may have accrued, any alleged debt is therefore statute barred pursuant to section 5 of the Limitation Act 1980.

3. The Claimant's claim to be entitled to payment of Јxxxxx or any other sum, or relief of any kind is denied.

A question about : How much is your weekly shop?

We are a family of 4. There is myself and the husband, my daughter who is 4 and my son who is 8 months (he is blw so we don't buy baby food but we do still buy milk at Ј8.49 every 4-5 days!)

First off I know they have to prove it, what the situation is I had 2 contracts I got at Christmas 2008 with Three, cancelled in May 2009 due to changes in contract.

I first got a letter about one saying I owed over Ј700 because I defaulted, I contacted Lowell the debt collector who said I had to prove it was cancelled then said I was getting confused/lying as you cant get out of a contract for any reason, I stood up for myself and I was promised proof of debt.

I was with my ex for 14 years. During the last 8 years of our relationship he lost his job and did not get a new one. This caused us to get into thousands of pounds worth of debt because we had to live off of my wages only and because as you do when you have no money, I had to borrow from Peter to give to Paul etc.
