A question about : How long before ...........

Hi received a letter today for arrears that I never knew about. Seemingly although the creditor had my postal address he has 'not been able to notify me of increase for storage over the last four year' and has now sent recovery in.
I've paid every month an amount to him which he now says is 'to an old account' and his lack of correspondence as worried me now with this letter.
He has my property and has told debt recovery I can remove it from his premises but wants arrears of Ј1400 to be paid through third party.

My debts and money problems are causing me much anxiexty and depression and I really need someone to help and guide me in the right direction as I feel that I cannot face it on my own.

I simply dont know which way to turn or who to turn to for assistance.

My money problems started 6 years ago when I got divorced and I havn't been able to recover and I feel it's now spiraling out of control and I need it to stop as it is now having a major impact on my health.

A question about : Can creditors get money i have in bank.?

Hi,i have debts totalling Ј25.000.with several creditors and have negotiated min payments on them,and been paying like this for Years now.I have just come into Ј12000 ,what do I do with this money .Can creditors apply to get this from my account ,do I have to pay it to my creditors pro rata,or can I just keep paying my monthly payments and say nothing about the money.

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of big stuff that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym .

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free.

A question about : Help Regal Credit Consultants LTD legal notice.

Hello guys, yesterday Regal Credit Consultants LTD has sent a letter taking legal action against my father debt, which they are granting a County Court Judgment on my father, if successful there would be actions taking taking against my father such as Bailiff to levy goods, employee deductions or charging order placed on property.

All this worries me and my family especially my father, so far I have been vague so I will now explain everything before this letter.

Hi, not sure if I'm posting in the right place but am really hoping someone can help me.

I joined my 15 year old daughter up to an Exercise 4 Less gym a while ago so that she could go with her friends, didn't mind this at Ј10 per month. After a while she wasn't going enough so we decided to stop the membership.

However, I made a mistake because I just cancelled the direct debit and didn't talk to the gym to cancel it properly.

A question about : On a DMP with StepChange

Hi all

Hope you can help.

I've been in a DMP for 3 months and things are going well.

There is a chance that at Xmas I may get a bonus at work of maybe 1500-2000.

Am I allowed if on a DMP to write to one or two of my smaller credit cards and offer this in a full and final settlement? Is it better to try to negotiate a couple of early settlements to get them gone or just to carry on paying the agreed instalments so they are all paid off in full?
