A question about : How long one can issue credit card refund??

How long a merchant can issue credit card refund??Say from the transaction date after lapse of 6 to 7 months can a merchant issue credit card refund??

It's a visa card....Please post me an update...

• They can always put money onto a credit card, if it technically counts as a refund in as far as the merchant fees they'd have been charged being refunded may well vary by their merchant bank provider etc
• As II says, money can be put onto a CC at any time, however, the retailer may well no longer have a record of the card details after that length of time (in fact, I'd like to hope they wouldn't unless they have a particularly good reason to retain them) so you may need to either represent the card or provide the details again.
