A question about : Remortgaging and offsetting

Hi, has anyone ever remortgaged to raise funds for school fees and then held them in an offset account against the mortgage, only drawing down on them as and when required?

Is this possible? Thanks

1) are brokers able to speak to underwriters direct to push through an offer?

2) are there any delays with The mortgage works buy to let?

Knowing the answers to these 2 questions won't cover my greys but it may help me sleep tonight!

A question about : Husband is registered on the CIS advice needed

Hi all,

We are looking at moving home. I am in permanent employment 30 hours a week and my husband is a sub-contractor but is CIS registered since he became a sub-contractor in December 2012. He has been sub-contacting to the same company for 5 months now.

A question about : Unit linked endowment policy

I acknowledge that these types of policy and not saleable. Does anyone know if that is absolutely correct and also whether these policies can be surrendered.

I have already arranged alternative life cover. This would free up an awful amount of money now my husband can no longer work and is not entitled to benefits. I want to use the money to pay off the reserve on the mortgage.

Has anyone successfully raffled off their property?
