A question about : In litigation with 3

Having been a customer of 3 (Hutchinson 3G UK limited) for several years, I recently entered into a dispute with them. This related to the fact that there was a continuous mix-up with my two mobile accounts (one my daughters and the other my own) and the IMEI numbers belonging to each handset. The mix up meant that when calling customer services myself and my daughter faced confusion and were unable to communicate clearly with the customer services staff due to language barriers.

A question about : The PAC code process?

Anyone care to clarify a few number porting questions. I'm with O2 at the moment in the 12th month of a contract.

Now I would like to stay with O2 if possible, however I don't think they'll play ball.

I'm currently in the final month of my contract and so could give the 30 days notice at any time.

However, as I understand I really need to wait for the 12 months to be up to get any chance of being offered an upgrade. Is that true?

A question about : O2

Signed a contract with O2 last year at Phones4U, where I got a great deal of a Sony Ericsson T610 for nothing with Ј50 cash back on the O2 Leisure Time for Ј15 a month.

Suits me fine as I only ever use my phone to call at evenings and weekends and to O2 mobiles and this was cheaper than PAYG (bill is hardly ever more than Ј20).

Anyway, the contract is nearly up and I wondered what the best course of action is.

I am seeking a tip on unlocking my mobile, the phone is my own, 12 months contract ended in March this year, Orange costs on day calls are the same as TMobile, therefore am switching to PAYG - TMobile quote Ј15.00 to unlock, is this the only option I have. Ј15.00 is more than 25% of my Job Seekers Allowance!

A question about : Which mobile phone service provider?

I often have to phone back various mobile phones, call costs can vary according to the mobile service provider that I am calling back, is there a method that I can find out who the mobile service provider is (from the number) before phoning so as to determine the most cost effective way of making the call. Hi - I'm thinking about buying a PAYG mobile online from The Link and notice that on the way to their checkout is a box which asks for a 'promotion code.'

Does anyone know a code for this which may save a few quid?

A question about : O2 Sim Wap access

Hi - not sure if anyone can help - I got hold of one of those 02 sims with the free 300 texts and 1mb free wap for Ј10 per month. The free text's work fine, but I seem to be getting charged for all wap access?
Has anyone else had this problem? Dont know if I have to activate this somehow? Thanks for any help!
