A question about : Shared Ownership Application in London

Hi,
I am currently applying for 1 bed shared ownership flats in London - but have been rejected for a few so just wondering if anyone can share their experiences with the application process, how high are the chances of ever getting one?
I fulfill all of the usual requirements, but I am not a key worker or on any housing registry. Just a regular person getting too old for flatshares & tired of ever increasing rents for sub-standard flats, but not quite there yet on buying outright.

A question about : Offering 6 months rent to a private landlord?

My daughter has just changed jobs and needs to move to Bristol and will be finding somewhere with her partner. The Bristol rental market seems to be moving fast and she needs to get ahead of the game. She lost a lovely flat by minutes at the weekend.

She has enough savings to offer 6 months rent up front to the landlord and has found a very good flat on Gumtree. Is this a good idea and how does she protect herself as much as possible because handing over such a large sum is a bit scary?

I have not had a viewing in 2 mths of being on rightmove but others have sold.

A question about : Did the LL crossed a line?

My LL is evicting me. He gave me wrong notice at first and during the 8 weeks notice I didn't find anywhere to go.
Council couldn't help becaue LL hadn't follow correct procedures so he had to serve me with a valid S21 but told me he would appreciate if I moved out sooner. I told him AGAIN I am struggling to find a new rental since I am a newly single mother and would probably become homeless so he asked me if there was any chance my exH and I would get back together and rent together again?

A question about : Problems with propertybee?

On firefox, property bee is not working. An error box came up 'download new version of propertybee as this one is not working'

Done that and makes no difference. Went into remove the old one too in my 'add-ons' and then downloaded it again and still no property bee showing at all when I go to rightmove.

Just me?

A question about : No security!

Hi everyone. I have just moved into a one bedroom flat above a Ladbrokes in birmingham uk. The flat itself is fine and i really like it, and its locality is ideal. My only issue, and it has become a major one after the story i heard tonight, is that there is no security for the premises other than a lock on the front door.
