Great 'What's Hot and What's not at Aldi, Lidl & Netto' Hunt revisted

A question about : Great 'What's Hot and What's not at Aldi, Lidl & Netto' Hunt revisted

What's this about?

Super-cheap supermarkets Lidl, Aldi and Netto smack the bottoms of their big name competitors when it comes to price. The problem is that their products can be hit and miss.

This is all about rating their best deals

To beat this, three years ago, we asked MoneySavers to rate the good products from the bad (see the orginal hunt). The results formed the What's Hot and What's Not at Aldi/Lidl/Netto guide.

The Norfolk hamper company thread

A question about : The Norfolk hamper company thread

Thought I'd post this seperate to the other thread as it may get lost in there for people who might want this deal but not the other!

I've previously ordered their 6 month deal and have been happy as have other MSE'ers, the owner is very helpful if you have any queries and want to ring him to clarify anything.

Food shopping on a budget while trying to diet

A question about : Food shopping on a budget while trying to diet

Tried to search the thread and could not find a topic like this - apologies if I have missed it?

In attempt number 7618761365581 to diet I have recently became a proud owner of a food steamer - that is after trying every diet under the sun, including WW, Slimfast, Slimming World, Lighterlife, Lipotrim etc etc.. and failing misearably.

So will try to do it solo - with my steamer.

But have you noticed how all that is healthy is expensive?

I'm eating out of the freezer and cupboards challenge

A question about : I'm eating out of the freezer and cupboards challenge

OK my freezer and stock cupboards are crammed full. I realise have spent a lot of money in the food in there. I want to save money by using these and only buy:
. Milk
. Fruit/Veg
. Bread
. Yoghurt
. Breakfast cereal (only have 2 unopened packets)
. Sandwich fillings (have one pack of ham in the freezer)

as these things I eat virtually every day

Until one of the following happens
. I ran out of food
. I have only fish fingers and cornflakes left.

Tesco Value Washing Powder

A question about : Tesco Value Washing Powder

Anyone else noticed?

A big box of the above was Ј1.64 but last week I went in and it was the same price but the box has gone from needing two hands to hold it to the 'regular' size.

Maybe it shrunk in the wash.

I hope this is temporary, although it's still cheaper than the others.

Bit of a cheek though.

Never sure if this should be in grabbit or food shopping.
Is this offer on again this weekend?
I've tried looking on internet but can't find anything. I was hoping to pick up a nice meal for the weekend.
