Hi
In November 2012 we left Manchester on time on a Thomas Cook flight to Cuba, after flying for an hour we had to return to Manchester Airport because of Engine trouble, we were then told it would be 23 hrs before we would be flying again.
We were put up in an hotel overnight and lost a full day of our holiday. I put in for Compensation and have just been informed by Thomas Cook we are not entitled to it as the original flight left on time ,can this be right?

A question about : jet2 flight delay

Been fighting for compensation for a flight delay of 8 hours in 2010 , Jet2 still insistent that you can only claim within 2 years even after the Huzar case . Has anyone else had this problem and is the next course of action the small claims court , would welcome any feedback on this matter thanks

A question about : Constant Battle with Thomas Cook (Flight Delay)

Can anyone help - I had a 10 hour flight delay from Fuerteventura to Newcastle on 5th July 2014. I submitted a claim through Martin Lewis's template letter. I got a reply saying due to it being a result of a technical fault they were unable to pay compensation. Due to the result of the court hearing in October 2014 I applied again and received this response today - Can anyone give advise as to were I go from here????

Apologies if there is a Wizz air thread, I can't find it. Also apologies if there are readily available answers to my questions. I've read through what I can but am unsure of next step.

A question about : please help! I was given wrong boarding pass, not told about it and was 10 hours late

I wonder if anyone can help, I've tried complaining to the airline (unsuccessful), have gone through CAA (unsuccessful after months of waiting) and was about to contact my MP - but I think this forum seems to know better than anyone about delayed flights and so I'm hoping someone can help!

Im pursuing Thomson for a 18 HR flight delay on 150908 from MILAS BODRUM TURKEY to EXETER UK booked on a First choice plane.
I've sent TUI copies of stamped passports proving my wife and I traveled from Milas, Plus Bank statement showing payment to local coop travel shop .
The arrival was due at 0255h but arrived at Exeter 2030h due to technical fly by wire problems after aborted take offs....nightmare!
TUI have replied to me twice - all I need is our boarding passes

thought i would let you all know thanks to this site, i today have received Ј1200 (family of 4) who traveled to Turkey in 2011. Only took one letter and they paid out.

A question about : liverpool county court 25th feb

Hi,

I couldn't see the answer on any of the current threads so thought I would ask...

Is the case at Liverpool court on Feb 25th public? I would be interested to watch but cannot find out where the listings etc are.
