Hi Everyone,

In Oct 11 I had my LBM (Light Bulb Moment), I'm still not sure why I had it to be honest but I'm glad I did! I joined some of the challenges on here and even started a debt free diary. I was so scared that this was just a phase and pretty soon I'd go back to my old spending habits and continue to fritter away money, feeling like a failure (again) because I'd started something but quickly gave up...

Well - another 'snow day' to disrupt the routine of a trying to be DFW single mum, livng her own, well with two somewhat niggling younglings, anklebitters, little darlings call them what you will. trying somehow to hold it all together with sellotape, stripey socks* and a few DFW sparkles for good measure.
(*I will explain about the significance of stripey socks later, they are as intregal to our lives as air, beaches and fish finger sandwiches*)

This is in effect Part 3 of my diary journey, Part 1 is here and Part 2 is here. Those diaries dealt with how we got into the problem we were in, and how we came to get help from MSE/CCCS to deal with the debt we were, and still are, in, and I thank my friends on here for their fantastic support during that time, which really kept me going, especially with my Mam in hospital for 3 weeks and in the Continuing Care Unit in a care home up in North Tyneside since 10th November 2010

Hi one and all!!

At the request of several members here on the DFW board, I have pleasure in starting the Debt Free Wannabe Running Club!The idea being that we all have goals we wish to reach, some being financial, others being weight loss, getting fit etc.

So heres the place to get the motivation to do it!!
