A question about : I am running the London Marathon for Macmillan

As many of you know, I am a keen club runner and have run the Flora London Marathon twice as well as numerous other events over the years.

I will be running the 26.2 miles through the Streets of London again on Sunday 13 April on behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support.

A question about : Charity Shop Ignorance

One of my local charity shops states that it opens at 9.30. I got there at 9.30 and waited for 10 minutes in the snow while the people inside took off their coats, walked up and down the stairs and tried to pretend they hadn't seen me. Eventually the man on the till let me in and I handed over my carrier bag of donations (which he thanked me for, I must say). I have been giving them a lot of stuff recently and all good quality. Not any more; I'll be walking to the other shop in future.

Hi,

I'm looking for any charities that you may know of that provide help with vets bills for people on low money?
I have tried the PDSA but I think i may be outside of their postcode area for pet treatment.

Will be grateful for any suggestions of organisations/charities!

Money Moral Dilemma: Should I stop my 10% charity payment?

For years, I have given a percentage of my earnings to my church - like many worshippers. I am a recent divorc! and bought my ex-wife's half of our house, so now pay the whole mortgage on my own. I just manage to survive with very little spare money at the end of each month. Should I stop the charity gift to ease my financial situation?
