A question about : Best pre-paid card for multiple countries holidays

Hello,

I am going on holidays in one week heading for Asia (HKK, Thailand, Macau) and will need several different currencies along the way.
I applied for Halifax Clarity card a month ago but they lost my documents and now I will not be able to get it on time.
So I am really confused if I should use pre-paid card topped with GBP and exchange it as needed or just buy something like travellers cheques. Or just bring everything in cash?
I am planning to take around Ј2000 and ideally would like to be able to withdraw money from ATM when I need to.

I have no experisence in this matter at all and would really appreciate your help. Thank you!
