A question about : North West Wedding

I've just got engaged after nearly 7 years together. We are hoping to be married next year June 2016 but depending on cost may have to be 2017.

We are having 65 day guest and 100 evening. The problem is most packages are for 50 day guest and your looking at Ј60 + per head for extra guest most places. So that mean's another Ј1000 to add to the cost.

A question about : Sister in-law has asked us to give Ј300 for parent's 60th Anniversary

It's my mother and father in-law's 60th Wedding Anniversary very soon and my sister in-law has asked that all siblings give Ј300 towards a holiday for their parents.

Throughout the 30 years of our marriage my husband has always paid whatever she has requested, for their parent's birthdays etc. I'm interested in hearing whether you think it reasonable and fair that 1 sibling decides the amount that all the others must pay.

Hello all, new to the forum but not this website

We are looking for a cheap wedding venue ideally all in the same location for under Ј2000.

Our requirements are a wedding for close venue in the late afternoon for roughly 20 people. We dont really want a wedding breakfast as it doesn't suit us. Then photos etc... Then we want to lead to our night due for around 100-120 people.

Most wedding venues we like are overpriced and also require minimum guests for wedding breakfasts which we dont want

Me and my Fiancee have booked our wedding for BH in August 2015, has anyone else planned that far in front.

We did this as we are having a big wedding with 80 day guests and 200 for the evening.

So far we have;

Booked Venue ( Civil Service )
- Includes Food, drink reception etc

Should i be further ahead and has anyone any tips.

Just wanted to pass on my feedback about the Wedding Dress Factory Outlet in Leicestershire. I am getting married in October so don't have much time to find my perfect dress, plus we're on a bit of a budget so I thought I'd try the Wedding Dress Factory Outlet even thought it was a 200 mile round trip.

Hi,

we are getting married on a budget.

Getting married late in afternoon at a church (around 4) and then for the guests (approx 150 adults, 30 children) to follow on to the reception venue for a party afterwards. (around 6pm, where there will be an hour for speeches etc, before music is on and party properly starts).

So no sit down meal.

Looking to open the buffet at around 7.30-8pm.
