A question about : Passport application county question

Just filling in the form for a passport renewal and they ask for the county after the address. Knowing how precise they are when checking forms, do I put Cardiff or South Glamorgan on the form?

• South Glamorgan was abolished in 1996 and is now classed as a preserved county (only there for ceremonial purposes etc).
  You should put Cardiff as that is the County Borough that you are in.

A question about : Best VHS to DVD transfer Cardiff?

Does anyone know the best way in Cardiff to transfer a VHS recording to DVD?
Has anyone tried printingwales in Trowbridge?
It's the only copy I have, and it's of great sentimental value to me, so I'd rather not post it.

A question about : Cardiff Estate Agent recommendations please!

Going to be selling my house in Cardiff and I'm out of the loop re: estate agents and how they are viewed. Anyone had any good or bad experiences? Ones to avoid? Also conveyancing solicitor recommendations would be grand too!

Where are they all going!?

The one in Whitchurch has closed down - though I'm not surprised it was a chaotic mess in there!
The one in Morgan Arcade, has disappeared, assume closed down.

There's only the one in Castle Arcade - Troutman Books left! Apart from the Charity Shop in St. Mary Street.

Then next stop it's Brecon or Hay-on-Wye, as the one in Cowbridge has also gone!!

A question about : Anybody had plans drawn for an extension recently

Hi
Looking to have plans drawn for a double extension on the side of our house.... Not sure where to start with getting the plans drawn and submitted to the council... Not sure if we need an architect as the inside is pretty much an integral garage with a small room to the rear and a bedroom with en-suite above..
Can anyone recommend an architect/tech designer in the South Wales area.

A question about : Getting rid of a n old bed.

I have to get rid of a double bed in early December but the local council can't collect it till January because of Christmas. (And it's only November). I have no storage space living in a two bedrromed terrace house, so does anyone have any ideas as to how to get rid of it. (No wonder people fly tip)

A question about : large furniture hoisting or crane

Hello

I have seen a large dining table on ebay that looks amazing but won't fit through my door. I could go and pick it up in a van but the difficulty would be getting into yhe house. I would have to have a company that could hoist the item over the garage into the back garden so we could take it in that way. Anyone able to recommend a local company covering the South Wales area.
