A question about : Can you still watch basic tv on a NowTV box if you cancel your subscription?

I have managed to connect up and get working an old TV using a Now TV box. I am on the free trial for 30 days. I had to give my card details to get the free trial but I do not think I want to continue. If I cancel the payment will the box still work showing the standard BBC, ITV Free to air channels? This would be useful if it would.

Just giving myself a New Year financial check up and I was wondering if anyone has previously cancelled their TV license as they no longer watch TV?

I got rid of Sky a few years ago as I never watch it and my TV just sits redundant in the corner of my living room. I have been contemplating getting an Apple TV box but have never got round to it.

I have a Sky Sagem router which is connected to a computer in room 1, by cable.
Want to buy a smart TV on room 2. This would mean 30 + feet of cable.
What I need ? is a WiFi router ?? that would do the job of the computer and the TV - yes ?

Will Sky give me one on demand, or charge me.

I am looking at the latest Hobbit, Exodus, The Fury and all are playing fine. Brand new movies ! Free !
IS this 'legal'. Am I doing something wrong ? Why would anyone pay for Netflix/Love... when this is available ?!
